De taille modeste, elle joue un rôle complémentaire des quais de Loire distants d’une cinquantaine de mètres. L’élargissement d’un creux en partie centrale, largement planté d’Erables, de Cornouillers et de vivaces aux floraisons changeantes offre de nombreuses situations d’assises propices à la pause et apporte de la fraîcheur dans cet environnement urbain dense. La suppression d’une voie de circulation le long de l’école d’architecture permet quant à elle d’ouvrir une nouvelle vue et un parcours plus fluide vers le fleuve. L’aménagement du chemin de la petite usine, du quai de jeux, du merlon-belvédère, de la grande prairie et de l’aire sportive du pré-gras permet d’accueillir de nouveaux usages tout en ménageant des ouvertures sur l’horizon portuaire. Une démarche de concertation et de participation sous-tend le projet depuis la définition du programme d’aménagement jusqu’à la plantation de baliveaux sur le merlon avec un groupe d’enfants et la quartier Erdre-Porterie sur les terres des anciens vergers du Launay au Nord de Nantes. Suite à leur abandon, le développement d’une friche a rapidement laissé place à un petit bois de chênes en devenir. Le projet s’attache à préserver au centre du jardin ce bosquet dans un seul et même ensemble afin de garantir sa pérennité et son ambiance fraîche de sous-bois. Ainsi, l’ensemble des lieux d’usages et de circulations se développent en lisière, entre le bois et les bâtiments. Au centre, des levées de terre en remblais constituent à travers le bois des sentiers enherbés et les retenues d’eau nécessaires à la gestion des eaux pluviales de l’opération. Située au cœur du quartier Maupas - Brèche du Bois - Haut Marais, elle occupe une position stratégique à l’articulation du boulevard de Bremerhaven, de la rue Cotis Capel ainsi que des squares Martin Luther King et de La Villette. Notre travail a consisté à clarifier l’organisation de ces différents espaces dans une logique de complémentarité des ambiances et des usages, tout en améliorant les continuités de cheminement dans un contexte de fort dénivelé. Le projet s’articule autour de trois interventions complémentaires. Sur la place Jean Moulin, la mise en œuvre d’un plancher bois de 700 m², intégrant les ouvrages de ventilation du parking dans de longues assises latérales, a permis de rétablir un sol plan et d’ouvrir de nouvelles perspectives entre l’avenue et l’horizon de la rade. Sur l’avenue de Bremerhaven, l’adaptation du profil à la zone 30 s’est accompagnée du regroupement des deux arrêts de bus existants en une station unique Maupas - la Brèche, favorisant la lisibilité et la sécurité des cheminements, notamment vers le collège. Sur le square, la réorganisation des stationnements en partie basse a permis de libérer l’emprise nécessaire à la création d’un terrain de jeux inscrit dans la pente, offrant un nouvel espace de transit.&nbsp;C’est dans ce contexte que la commune a engagé une réflexion ambitieuse pour améliorer la qualité d’usage de ses espaces publics et redynamiser son coeur de ville. La démarche&nbsp; que nous avons proposée, fondée sur une approche multiscaliare, s’est traduite par la proposition d’un nouveau schéma de circulation.&nbsp; La première phase d’aménagement, aujourd’hui livrée, a concerné les rues dites de l’anneau des équipements : mise en sens unique, création d’une voie verte continue, plantation d’alignements d’arbres à l’axe et mise en oeuvre de matériaux simples (pavés granit et enrobé grenaillé), définissant une écriture ocmmune à l’échelle du centre-ville.La suite du projet portera sur la requalification des rues et places historiques, images : lalu Le quartier du Bois Briard se situe entre les communes historiques d’Evry et de Courcouronnes désormais rassemblées en une commune nouvelle, sur un merlon autoroutier aujourd’hui désaffecté, le long de la ligne de tramway T12 express qui sera mise en service fin 2023. L’urbanisation du secteur s’appuie sur trois enjeux principaux : habiter le merlon, connecter les quartiers de part et d’autre et préserver le boisement existant qui confère sa qualité au site. Le tracé des chemins, l’implantation des bâtiments, la définition des espaces de convivialité s’appuient sur la reconnaissance de ces spécificités. En remontant la Loire, chacune des oeuvres propose un mouvement en référence aux éléments observés dans le paysage. La position des stations s’adapte à un vis-à-vis spécifique avec les mobiles et le paysage qui les accueille. Les stations de 9m² sont surélevées entre 35 cm et 90 cm du sol suivant les situations. Elles offrent des lieux hybrides pour la pause, le repos et la contemplation des mobiles et du paysage. On peut s’y asseoir sur les bords, en tailleur au centre, s’y allonger. Il conserve encore un caractère rural malgré son attractivité. Ses espaces publics sont pour autant vétustes et inadaptés au passage des camions. L’enjeu du projet est d’abord de reconnaître la structure des espaces publics en chapelet le long de la rue principale, d’en affirmer les spécificités et complémentarités, notamment en lien avec les équipements, puis d’accompagner leur requalification par la création de nouvelles promenades en boucle autour du bourg. Ces contributions nous ont permis de faire ressortir cinq grands thèmes : mettre en valeur le patrimoine bâti / mettre en valeur le cadre naturel / permettre la promenade / améliorer la sécurité des piétons / proposer des lieux de convivialité. La mission associe une réflexion globale sur l’armature des espaces publics du centre-ville, l’implantation d’un nouvel équipement, la “Maison commune”, siège de l’intercommunalité et la création d’une nouvelle offre de logements adaptée au contexte spécifique de la commune.
